We have decided to move the meeting to a new date, trying to fix the most convenient date. That will be, when the pandemic situation becomes controlled worldwide and air travel restrictions will allow the celebration of the meeting with safety.

Jay Goldberg, PhD, professor emeritus in the Department of Pharmacology and Physiological Sciences at the University of Chicago and a pioneer in understanding the vestibular system, died on Monday, June 17, 2019, from liver disease. He was 83 years old.

There are people who are fighters since childhood, and that fighter character is maintained throughout his life. These people can show this character in several ways, some more obvious and visible to the rest of society and others, more discreet, in the form of determination and enthusiasm to overcome obstacles of all kinds.
In December 1923 three men met in Madrid and this was a key event in the further history of neuro-otology. The oldest of them was a recently retired professor from the chair of Histology in Madrid.
